"Please allow the listed university council members to attend the interview and statement recording regarding
the matters under investigation at the EACC Eldoret office in order to facilitate the investigation," Rasugu stated.
The Ministry of Education and Treasury will be represented by Charles Obiero and Isaac Memusi on Thursday,
while Council Chairman Humphrey Njuguna and Clara Momanyi will be questioned on Wednesday.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Isaac Kosgei is among the 59 people of interest who have so far recorded testimonies about the Sh2.2 billion Moi Varsity robbery.
Last Wednesday, Kosgei visited the EACC headquarters and answered questions regarding the mishandling of the funds.
He said that he will shortly extend an invitation to the media to visit the university, where he will provide more clarity on issues that impact the establishment.
The projects being investigated include the projected Sh726.4 million development of a school of public health, dentistry, and nursing, according to the letter signed by Rasugu.
The second project, which would cost Sh1.1 billion, is the planned building of Library Phase 11 at the Annex Campus and associated facilities.
A further project that would cost Sh148 million is the installation of electrical equipment at the School of Public Health and Dentistry.
The electrical installation at the Library annexe, which would cost Sh169 million, is the fourth significant project that the EACC is investigating.
EACC is looking into a number of aspects of the same library project at the Annex Campus, including the air conditioning and mechanical systems,
which are purportedly worth over Sh35 million. An additional initiative is the building of an amphitheater on the main campus,
along with consulting services for other projects.
According to EACC, the investigation's findings will guide the proper course of action against anyone deemed accountable.
