Ruto orders the Kenya Innovation Agency to be based in the president's office

Nov. 27, Nairobi, Kenya Citing the need to centralise and commercialise the sector's prospects, President William Ruto has 
ordered the Kenya Innovation Agency to be housed in the president's office. 

The head of said that giving the agency a budget of Sh500 million during the inauguration of Kenya Kenya Innovation Week 2024 in Nairobi.

He said that his administration will assist it and suggested allocating a Sh1 billion start-up fund to it.
